Underwater Sunset

Part of my first exhibition in 2016 at the West Annapolis Artworks Gallery.

Underwater Sunset is one of my very first pieces created way back when I began my journey into alcohol inks. This piece is the epitome of the qualities of alcohol ink where color upon color is layered for an out-of-this-world look. Gorgeous jewel toned colors reminiscent of the beautiful colors under the sea. At that time I was exploring different textures in my work using wax paper and sponges to create foliage and rich texture. The complimentary colors of stream and sunset orange with a hint of butterscotch make this piece a true collector’s item.

The painting is 11 x 14 and it is matted to 16 x 20 and ready for framing. Sealed with UV protection.

Artwork is finished with archival grade spray varnish and is sealed to prevent smudging, fading, and damage from UB light.

Please Note:

Alcohol ink art should never be hung in direct sunlight. None of my paintings have faded over the years and this is due to making sure they were never exposed to direct light.

You will receive a certificate of authenticity stating this piece is a one-of-a-kind original painting with my signature and date.
